Flutterby bakehouse was born out of my love of baking and creating. I grew up being encouraged to bake and generally make a mess of my mum’s kitchen. My grandmother was (and still is) an accomplished baker and maker. I remember sitting outside watching my mum and gran preparing the fruit from our garden for cooking and listening to them talking about everything under the sun..... That’s what Flutterby is about. Teaching a dying art. The art of just creating whilst enjoying a conversation about anything and everything. We want to pass on these skills and the pleasure that comes from them to everyone out there. What’s nicer than to sit around the kitchen table, discussing love and life whilst making beautiful and delicious cakes? Flutterby is based in Chiswick, West London. We offer friendly classes in the art of cupcake making and decorating. You do not need any special skills to do one of our classes, just a love of all things nice. |
